Organised by the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore (IPAS), the Singapore Insolvency Conference is Singapore's leading restructuring and insolvency conference and a key platform for thought leadership, professional exchange and cross-border collaboration.

For over 20 years, the conference has brought together restructuring and insolvency professionals, legal practitioners, financiers, regulators and business leaders to discuss emerging trends, legal developments and practical challenges shaping the restructuring and insolvency landscape across Asia and beyond.

The Singapore Insolvency Conference 2026 (SIC 2026) brings together the restructuring and insolvency community to examine the evolution and future direction of restructuring and insolvency law and practice in Singapore and beyond. Building on four decades of transformation since the Pan-Electric crisis, the conference will explore how Singapore has developed into a leading international restructuring hub and consider the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

Over two days, delegates will engage in discussions on some of the most significant developments shaping the restructuring and insolvency landscape. Topics include the progress and effectiveness of Singapore’s enhanced scheme of arrangement regime, the growing influence of cross-class cramdown mechanisms, litigation funding in insolvency, fraud detection and asset recovery, and the increasing complexity of cross-border restructurings.

The programme will also address governance and crisis management in the boardroom, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, on insolvency and restructuring practice. The conference will feature distinguished speakers from the judiciary, government, private practice, financial advisory firms, litigation funders, and international restructuring specialists.

Highlights include a fireside discussion on the evolution of Singapore’s restructuring and insolvency framework, a conversation on future policy directions, and expert panels examining contemporary issues from both local and international perspectives. By combining historical reflection, current market developments, and forward-looking analysis, SIC 2026 seeks to provide a unique platform for thought leadership, knowledge sharing and professional engagement across the restructuring and insolvency community.

For this activity, participants are reminded to sign in on arrival and sign out at the conclusion of each day of the event in the manner required by the organiser. Participants must not be absent from each day of the event for more than 15 minutes. Participants may obtain Public CPD Points for each day of the event on which they comply strictly with the Attendance Policy. Participants who do not comply with the Attendance Policy on any particular day of the event will not be able to obtain CPD Points for that day.
